But, truly - this blessed me today as I'm working on getting some manuscripts ready for the Greater Philadelphia Writers Conference in a few weeks and struggling with the temptation to just chuck it all thinking maybe after a lifetime passion for words and writing God has not called me to do so in the first place and I'm way off the mark. I needed to read that Goins quote about bad writers quitting. Bam! Hit me where I live!

I was blessed to bump into you at LYFE this past weekend. I liked your fb page - hoping to keep up with you as I can see we have many commonplaces. Check out my retreat recaps - nice photo of us in Part 2. http://www.thewritersreverie.com/2014/06/retreat-and-breathe-part-2.html

Hope to see you posting again, soon - with renewed vision and vigor.
Joy!
KathyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4874294223258884392.post-35565693982591420952014-06-03T17:09:58.491-04:002014-06-03T17:09:58.491-04:00Sounds like we are in similar seasons, Julie. Because in the middle of the nothing, there really is something. :) Little pieces just may pop up. Keep looking (I'll be doing the same!)!Laura Robbhttp://lauracrobb.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4874294223258884392.post-67528097865751052972014-06-03T13:18:03.163-04:002014-06-03T13:18:03.163-04:00It is always helpful to dig for the treasures... t...It is always helpful to dig for the treasures... the best thoughts are always deeply hidden!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18261551150188425661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4874294223258884392.post-64479138688771607412014-06-03T13:17:17.266-04:002014-06-03T13:17:17.266-04:00Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the encourag...Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the encouragement! every little bit helpsAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18261551150188425661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4874294223258884392.post-87025659811769175562014-06-03T13:14:51.854-04:002014-06-03T13:14:51.854-04:00Oh, thanks for sharing that little tidbit! Also, your something/nothing reminded me of "You've Got Mail."

Kathleen Kelly: [in an email to Joe Fox] The odd thing about this form of communication is that you're more likely to talk about nothing than something. But I just want to say that all this nothing has meant more to me than so many somethings.

Thanks for sharing!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
