Finding my Writing Voice (a 31 days series)

I tried this once in the Spring in my own little personal journal. Writing every day for 31 days. I made it 6 days... almost as good as last year's 31 days attempt.

Now it is the night before October 1, the start of the #write31days, and I sit on the fence. I want to write, I really do, but I have not made it a priority for some time now. A few years ago I called myself a writer, and then I decided to go back to school to "hone my skills" and all of a sudden writing wasn't fun anymore and I didn't have any free time and I just quit.

I've started up again, multiple times. And multiple times I've let life get in the way and my writing drifts away into dreamland again. I already know that I'm going to miss a few days (or maybe more than a few). I already know that I'm going to hate myself for attempting this yet again.

But I also know that there is a chance that I will pleasantly surprise myself and actually fall in love with writing again, and find my voice!

So this is my landing page for my series, whether it takes me all of October, or the next three months, you can always come back here and see my progress and find the links to each blog post.  To begin with, I am going to join the ladies of Five Minute Friday (they are still my favorite community) and use the 31 days of free writes prompts to get me started. I'm praying as I come to find my voice and make the time to write regularly that you will stick with me through the horrible stuff, because that's how I will find the treasures that are waiting to unlocked.
