START
How do you handle the Unexpected? Me... not so well! I don't like change, I don't like my plans changed and I don't like surprises (unless they are gifts).
The Unexpected? I have 2 of my 4 kids that were Unexpected, but oh how lost we would be without them! :)
The Unexpected? If I look at it right, it is usually just some more of God's blessings showered on my life. But I like routine, and I like to plan ahead and I like to know what's coming next. I am not very flexible and that can create some stressful moments as a mom of FOUR kids in 4 1/2 years. It gets easier as they get older and that was a little unexpected, too! I am working on embracing the unexpected... and some days I do better than others.
I love the good unexpected... Like when I was working in the office and I heard my husband making noise in the kitchen and I was stewing in my head about how I was SURE he was making chocolate milk, even though there was barely enough milk for breakfast the next morning... Only to be surprised when he showed up in the room with a root beer float that he made just for me... The good unexpected.
I am working to lower my expectations in order to lower my frustrations. In life, expect the Unexpected!!

Visiting from the 5 Minute Friday today. Wow, 4 kids in 4.5 years. I have four children, but quite the spread between the first two and the last two. I have learned to adapt to change. I gets easier when you get older! Have a great weekend!
