Mentors

Finally making it to One Sentence Saturday....

"A mentor is not perfect; she has her own quirks and struggles,
but she is in your life for a time/purpose."
-Mrs. Peggy Walker (at our mom's group this week)

What's a mentor to you?

... go check out and encourage the other One Sentence Saturday participants and help Robin out on her European bucket list.

  1. Nice quote! I, too, am part of a mom's group as a mentor. Along with three other seasoned moms, I have the privilege of sharing the lives of several young moms in our church. The two times a month we meet is a highlight for all of us. It seems like only yesterday it was me that needed the encouragement and teaching of the experienced moms. What am I talking about? I still need that! :-)

  2. I love this because it demonstrates perfection has nothing to do with it. Mentors have played a great role in my teens' lives; one person CAN make a difference!

Thanks for joining in One Sentence Saturday!

  3. I've mentored new employees at work - being available to tell them they'll survive is priceless!
