My three sweet little girls in the "Cherub Choir" for Christmas
Psalm 92:1-5
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. For thou, Lord hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
Psalm 103:1-5, 8
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies: who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
There is nothing like some "Psalm therapy" when you are feeling less than par!! I have been spending most of my Bible reading time in the Psalms lately... some days it's all I have time for!! I have been blessed by so many verses lately, but these are a few I wanted to share!!

I join you in Psalm therapy often! It's a tried-and-true method for many ills. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of your cherubs -- that is it's own therapy as well. They are precious!
I love Psalm Therapy!
ReplyDeleteAnd your little cherubs are just precious!
Happy Word-filled Wednesday!

Amen! One can definitely find themselves in the Psalms.
ReplyDeleteI'm so totally with you! I strive for half an hour a day of verse by verse Bible studies - either directly in the Bible, or listening to a good sermon on my iPod. But for those days when there's only a few minutes, or if I'm really upset about something, the book of Psalms is always my first destination. It's so full of encouraging and comforting Bible verses, isn't it! And what an adorable photo!! Perfect for this Word-Filled Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteIndeed!!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome and it is therapy for the soul!! Love me some Psalms!
Love this!
Happy New Year and peace!

"The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy." I pray I will have theses characteristics more this year! Love the pictures! Always awesome to see children singing and praising God!
ReplyDeleteAmen! I can never get enough of the Psalms! They are like salve to my soul.
