EDIT March 2012: I made this card over a year ago... but it's still in my stash! I wanted to share it for The CSI Project's Embossing/Papercrafting week!! I love the sparkly silver train and the dimension added by embossing!
Black and White... think weddings, think New Years, even Valentines Day... but I wanted to do something different, and now I need some help!!
Here is the challenge, from Off the Wall Craftiness
and here is what I came up with...
I like the silver embossed train and I like the brads... but I am struggling with the sentiment for the card and whether to put it on the outside (if so where??) or to add something on the inside!!
and of course, the matching envelope!!
So please give me some suggestions/recommendations!!
I love this card! I think it's so cool and who says every card has to have a sentiment on the outside? I like it the way it is! I love these stamps! My son is crazy for trains and these are too cool! Who makes them? Thanks for joining in the fun this week at OTWC and Good Luck! Happy New Year! :-)
ReplyDeleteFun card with the sparkly train! Thanks for playing with us at OTWC this week!
ReplyDeleteI think it could be an encouragement card and say "keep chuggin" Or "your on the right track!"

That train is just AWESOME embossed in silver. What a neat stamp - my son would love this. It would be a great birthday card for a little boy. Sometimes when I have the same problem, I'll use a bow with a tag hanging off of it that contains the sentiment but I like it the way it is too. Glad you joined the OTWC challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteI think you could put a sentiment just along the outside right bottom edge of the black rectangle...going vertically from that corner (if that makes sense!). YOu could make it a thank you card...because trains are very dependable: always right on time!!! Looks good, Julie!!!
