Nuts about you!

A perfect Autumn snack!

This idea is obviously not original with me... just google chocolate peanut butter acorns and you will get a wealth of sites... :)   but this is my little tutorial... complete with pictures of course!! :) I originally spotted it on Six in the Suburbs.

Get your ingredients... Nutter Butter Bites, Hershey Kisses, Mini chocolate chips

Have your children happily peel a bunch of kisses!!

Melt a bunch of mini chocolate chips (not even half the bag is needed) in a bowl in the microwave ... at 10-15 second intervals

Then let your kids dip chocolate kisses in the melted chocolate and stick it on the nutter butter bites

Then you take the mini chips and dip them in melted chocolate and attach them to the opposite end of the nutter butter... I was gonna let the kids do it, but I had a hard enough time handling them because they were so small!

I did let the kids line up the mini chips for me, to make it easier for me to work with them! :)

Don't they look delicious?!??! :)

and then you reward the kids for all their hard work and let them taste ONE!!

and then totally crack up as your daughter goes into convulsions because it tastes soo good! :)  (and she's the one that doesn't even like peanut butter)

Then I made cute little snack bag toppers with the intention of giving them as gifts to the kids teachers... and then we kept eating them, so now I have to make more!! :)

DELIGHTFUL!!!

If you like the snack bag toppers and don't want to make them yourself, you can purchase them here!
