START

Typically any picture of my son-in-motion these days would be him surrounded by thousands of legos... but it snowed this week, so we got some outside time!!  He was such a help in shoveling the sidewalk... and such a cutie, too.  (he is reading over my shoulder, and wants me to cut the "cutie" part off!)

Being the oldest brother of three little girls can definitely have its challenges, but he does great...most of the time!  Like most siblings they can be best of friends, or worst of enemies ~all within a 5 minute time span.  It's easy for him to get lost in the shuffle, but I am making an effort to pray him into the Warrior God wants him to be... many thanks to the MOBsociety and #warriorprayers on Twitter.

  1. I had to smile at him wanting the "cutie" part deleted - added a great dimension to the picture. Also, loved that he was reading this and you were affirming him as a brother and told him you're praying him onto being a Warrior for God. I think it's so important to share prayers like that with our kids.

  2. haha, that's one of the reasons i prefer not to listen to mom's sermons (she's a pastor) - whenever she shares a family story, i find myself cringing :D not because the story is embarrassing or something, just 'cuz :D

  3. My boys would have said the same thing about the "cutie" part . . . well maybe not my 4 year old at this time! LOL! And indeed keep praying the hedge around your boys. Satan so wants to distract the future godly leaders.
