Project 52 --Summer Treats

I always think of ice cream as the perfect summer treat... but my kids are at Grandma's this week, so I'm trying to skip the ice cream myself.  Although I suppose having a bowl in the name of photojournalism might have been a good idea...

However, Starbucks has a nice promo for free Starbucks Refreshers on Friday, from noon to 3, so I decided that I was going to use that as my photo opportunity... and then I forgot to take my camera with me, so I attempted a shot with my phone (NOT an iPhone) so the quality isn't great. I did play with it a bit in Picasa, it didn't turn out too bad.

Regarding the drink... It was a little too strong on the hibiscus flavor and tasted more like tea to me, but I would take another free one! :)
